Things to do in Lisbon

Carmo Convent: The Convent’s church houses the Archaeological Museum where you can admire a collection of ceramic tiles, medieval tombs, ancient coins, and other city finds.
Grémio Literário: Several scenes of "Os Maias", from Eça de Queiroz take place here and he was a regular attendant of this space. The table where he used to read the daily newspaper is still there.

Café A Brasileira: Eça de Queiroz refers to this emblematic coffee in several of his books. The truth is no visit to Lisbon is complete without stopping to grab a cup of coffee in the terrace of A Brasileira.

Caza Havaneza: The oldest tobacco store in Lisbon, Casa Havaneza, is mentioned several times in the books of Eça de Queiroz. It also has a wide range of smoking accessories from prestigious brands such as Butz-Choquin, Big Ben, Humidif and Porsche Design.

Lisbon Cathedral: Was built in 1147 after the reconquest of the city from the Moors. Inside the cathedral, you should visit the Chapel of Bartolomeu Joanes, the Gothic Dionysian cloister and the apse with its ambulatory. 

Portal do Sol Viewpoint: A very pleasant location to enjoy the panorama over the Alfama, with its enchanting winding streets that hark back to its Arab origins. 
 
Sophia de Mello Breyner Viewpoint: A popular spot in Lisbon, with a view over the rooftops and typical buildings of the city. Ideal to spend some time with your girlfriend or boyfriend and shot some couple photos. 
D. Maria II National Theatre: The D. Maria National Theatre is one of the most famous an important theatres in Lisbon. There is the possibility of a guided tour on Mondays at 11:00 a.m., by appointment 48 hours before. 

Santa Justa Elevator: Passengers can ascend in the elevator and get to the very top of the tower via a spiral staircase. At the top, there is a fantastic view over Lisbon: Rossio, the Baixa, St. George's Castle, the River Tagus and the ruins of the Carmelite Church

Alfama: Your tour in Alfama starts in São Miguel Church. Then, visit Fado Museum. The result of donations from singers, players and their families, it has a huge collection which pays homage to Lisbon's traditional music and its creators.

Mouraria: Mouraria is a very authentically Lisbon neighborhood, known as the birthplace of Fado.

Castle of St. George: Take a walk around Castelo, one of the most genuine neighborhoods in Lisbon. Don't forget to stop at the famous viewpoint inside the castle (payment required), where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the capital of Portugal

Eduardo VII Park: One of Lisbon’s main parks, Eduardo VII Park is a nice place to relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the Tejo River.  

From Santa Catarina Viewpoint to Bica: Located in Alto de Santa Catarina, facing the area of Cais do Sodré, this is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Lisbon. The views are stunning, stretching from the river to the Ponte 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei, on the other side of the river. 

Ribeira Market: Mercado da Ribeira has been selling fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, and other products to Lisboners since 1892. It’s one of the biggest markets in Lisbon and it’s extremely popular due to their flower shops.
